There have been lots of stories about the sadness and tears shed in the final days of filming on "Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows - Part 1" and "Part 2." But castmembers also felt a bit of relief at having capped off a decade of "Potter" with an intense shoot on the final two films.

"Whenever people say, 'Oh, you must have been really sad on that last day,' I think, 'Well yeah. We were all knackered,' " Daniel Radcliffe recently told MTV News. "We were also quite happy to have some time off." (In fact, Radcliffe had little if any time off as he had to fly straight to New York to present at the Tony Awards with Katie Holmes after shooting wrapped.)

The franchise's shining star went on to say that emotions were high on that last day, but for many reasons.

"There was one side of us that was very sad to finish it all but on the other hand we had been filming for a long time," Radcliffe explained. "It was also the most chaotic of the films, I think, to make as well. We were jumping and changing between movies. We would be going from scene 10 one day to scene 300-something. So much changes at that point, when it comes to costume and makeup and look and all of that," he said.

"Often you'd do one scene and be getting rewrites for it, for a scene you'd be doing the next day. And because the pressure was on us so much to make these films the best, there was a slightly more panicked feel about the whole thing, which is understandable."
