Usher, Kelly Clarkson Added To Billboard Music Awards Performer List

Nelly Furtado and Linkin Park will also perform on May 20 show from Las Vegas.

<P>The Lineup for the May 20 <i>Billboard</i> Music Awards got a fuel-injection on Tuesday (May 1) when Kelly Clarkson, Usher, Linkin Park and Nelly Furtado <a href="http://www.billboard.com/bbma/news/usher-kelly-clarkson-linkin-park-and-nelly-furtado-billboard-music-awards" target="_blank"> were added to the performer Lineup</a>.</P><P>The show, which will air on ABC from the MGM Grand Arena, was already slated to feature songs from <a href=" http://www.mtv.com/music/artist/bieber_justin/artist.jhtml">Justin Bieber</a>, LMFAO, <a href="/news/articles/1684195/the-wanted-britney-spears.jhtml">The Wanted</a>&#8232;, Carrie Underwood and Cee Lo Green.</P><P><center><embed src="http://media.mtvnservices.com/mgid:uma:video:mtv.com:719495/cp~vid%3D719495%26uri%3Dmgid%3Auma%3Avideo%3Amtv.com%3A719495" width="460" height="260" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" allowFullScreen="true" allowScriptAccess="always" base="."></embed></center></P><P>In no coincidence at all, the show will come just as many of the headliners are preparing to drop new albums, including Usher (<I>Looking at Myself</I>, June 12), Furtado, (<I>The Spirit Indestructible</I>, June 19), Bieber (<a href="/news/articles/1684085/justin-bieber-kanye-west-studio.jhtml"><I>Believe</I></a>&#8232;, June 19) and Park, (<I>Living Things</I>, June 26).
